FC type Fiber jumper (FC = Fiber Connector). The joint is a metal joint, generally used in the ODF side, the metal pull head can be inserted more times than the plastic, the telecommunication network uses more, there is a nut screwed to the adapter, a bit is firm, dust proof, the disadvantage is that the installation time is slightly longer.
ST type fiber jumper (ST = Straight Tip). Often used in optical fiber distribution frame, the shell is round, fastening way for the screw buckle. Often used in general network, ST head inserted after half rotation has a bayonet fixed, the disadvantage is easy to break.
The LC type fiber jumper (LC = Lucent connector) is connected to the connector of the SFP module, which is made of the modular jack (RJ) latch mechanism with easy operation. The LC joint is similar in shape to the SC joint and is somewhat smaller than the SC joint.
Observing the labeling of tail fiber joints, we can often see signs similar to "FC/PC", "SC/PC", etc., which have the following meanings:
