2. Insertion loss
The insertion loss is generally required to be less than 0.2dB, if the insertion loss is too high, it will affect the transmission of light.
3. Repeatability
Adapters need to be frequently inserted and unplugged during use, so the durability of the adapter is high. The normal standard requires that the number of insertions and unplugging can reach more than 500 times without affecting the performance while ensuring that the insertion loss does not change.
4. Working temperature
-40℃~75℃ is a normal operating range of the adapter.
5. The fiber adapter is aligned with the material of the casing
The aligning sleeve is the most important part of the fiber adapter, which is generally made of metal or ceramic. The use effect of the fiber adapter made of ceramic will be relatively good. Because the crystal structure of the ceramic is hard and not easy to deform, it can realize fast alignment and high-precision fiber end face docking.
